Hall County Courthouse in Grand Island, completed in 1904 is considered to be one of the finest examples of the beaux-arts classicism style of architecture in the Midwest.  The structure of brick and stone is topped by a copper-clad clock tower and cupola with monumental stairs leading to the main entrance.  Designed by nationally-renowned architect, Thomas R.
