Cultural Practices
These plots were continuous, i.e. planted into corn residue, rather than rotated by planting into soybean residue or other.
- 4/20/98: -- Fertilized with NH3, 13 knife 30" between row @ 94lbs N/ac.
- 4/24/98: -- Sprayed BicepII (2.4 qt/ac) for Grass and Broadleaf weed pre-emergent.
- 5/06/98: -- Planted CaseI H950 in 8-row 30" set 22, 153 no-till into corn residue NC+5445.
- 6/17/98: -- Sprayed Accent (0.67oz/ac) + NIS (1qt/100gal) + AMS (17 lbs/100gal) Post-emergent for Grass. Scheduled for cultivation but not completed due to wet weather and crop height.
