The image at left looks similar to the image from July 28.
No signs of moisture stress were apparent. No visible differences between plots with the original N application and those with the additional N application were apparent.
The graph below displays a portion of the fifth dataset, acquired August 9, 1998. Corn height is 80 inches and plant development is at the R4 [Dough] stage (approx. 24-28 days after silking). The IFOV of the sensor is 60 inches and was positioned 19 feet above the canopy. Sky conditions were mostly clear with a few cumulus clouds.
The curve looks similar in comparison to July 28 both qualitatively and quantitatively.
